A View Looking down Runway 21
The
field is in a wonderfully scenic location that is
surrounded by picturesque hills and the tranquil lakes of
the Finger Lakes. The grass strip is well groomed and its
rustic hangers take you back to the early days of
aviation. It wouldn't be hard to imagine a "Curtiss Jenny"
turning final to land here while you eat breakfast on the
deck of the Pilots Lounge on some weekend during the
summer.
The Pilots Lounge is open from May until the end of October. If the weather is good and the sky clear you might
just have to wait a few minutes for a seat...please do!

Why is this site here?
This site is online to support general aviation and to
encourage its growth here in the Finger Lakes area of New
York State. We want to introduce young people into the
fascinating world of aviation and the field of
aeronautics, what better way than a day at a local airfield.
This site is dedicated to supporting
local general aviation and the Middlesex Valley Airport.
